Check back in the spring to order a food storage box!
Dukes Farm offers food storage boxes for customers who love making salsa, pesto, tomato sauce, and pickles.
You do not need to be a CSA member to do a food storage box order. And you can order as many food storage boxes as you want!
New for the workplaces and groups we serve: starting in 2020, if you are an employee or member at any of the workplaces and other group locations we serve, and are not a CSA member, you can still order any of the food storage boxes (such as a pickle box) and anything in the online shop and have it delivered, for free, to your group location!
If you are a CSA member, you can get your food storage boxes delivered with your regular weekly delivery. Other customers can choose to pick up their food storage boxes at our Marquette pickup site (to be determined), through home delivery, or contact us for other options (info@lakesuperiorfarms.com or 906-360-8710).
Pickle Box
This box is customizable. Choose cucumbers and however much garlic, dill, onions, hot peppers, and sweet peppers you want. Want to pickle something other than cucumbers, or want smaller or larger cucumbers? Carrots, beans, Napa cabbage? Just let us know and we’ll work out the price and whatever quantities you want. These typically become available in August. Starting in 2020 we will be offering a few other options for the pickle box, including small, medium, or larger cucumbers, as well as other options.
Salsa Box
This box is customizable. Choose tomatoes, tomatillos or both, and however much garlic, onions, hot peppers, sweet peppers and cilantro you want. You can also choose to make yours verde and substitute tomatoes for tomatillos. These typically become available in September. Starting in 2020 we will be offering mild, medium, and spicy options for your salsa box, as well as other options.
Pesto Box
This box is customizable. Choose sweet basil, and however much garlic and parsley you want. If you want to add parsley or something else to your pesto, we can work with you on that. These typically become available in mid-August.
Tomato Sauce Box
This box is customizable. Choose tomatoes, and however much garlic, onions and herbs you want. Or, you can choose how much of each veggie you want to make your sauce.
Thanksgiving/Harvest Box
New for 2020. This box is customizable. Everything you need to host a beautiful dinner: root vegetables, meat, pumpkin, winter squash, garlic, and any other items that are fresh toward the end of November. We will be working on the details for this box soon. This box can be customized in the Fall, so you will not be invoiced for this box until you make your selections at that time.
